All Buffs And Nerfs In LoL Patch 12.17
Riot Games has detailed the impending patch 12.17 adjustments, which will enhance champions including Miss Fortune, Graves, and Ezreal while nerfing Nami, Sylas, and Sivir and tweaking Maokai and Hecarim.
Worlds 2022, one of the most anticipated esports competitions of the year, is just around the corner, beginning September 29. And, in the run-up to the big tournament, Riot is taking all kinds of safeguards with its balance tweaks to ensure that all 24 qualifying teams have a healthy and entertaining meta.
Many believe that the pro meta is in decent shape following the Durability upgrade and patch 12.14’s dragon boosts and healing outlier nerf. “Playoffs have been pretty exciting, and we’re happy with the state of things,” said League of Legends head designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison.
Buffs and nerfs in LoL Patch 12.17
So far, Riot hasn’t revealed any buffs or nerfs, nor have we seen anything intriguing on the PBE. Since I previously stated, give it a few days and you’ll see a full list here.
Miss Fortune Buffs Up for Worlds 2022
We must briefly discuss Miss Fortune. She’s beginner-friendly and a superb selection even in the pro-scene. She played a significant role in the 2021 League of Legends World Championship last year; could these impending modifications make her a great ADC once more? Or will Zeri and Sivir stay unbeatable?

Tweaks to Stopwatch and Zhonya’s
Isn’t the stopwatch the finest item in all of League of Legends? That thing is ridiculously overpowered. Imagine if, with a cooldown, you could use it again and again. Then there’s Zhonya’s Hourglass. Riot is altering both items in preparation for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship.

Maokai Changes to Rift in LoL Patch 12.17
Riot appears to be attempting to resurrect the Maokai jungle. The Shadow Isles tree hasn’t had much time in the role and has usually seen play in the support position, but that might change with these changes to his kit.

Skins of Zenith Games and Ages of Runeterra in LoL Patch 12.17
We’ll get two distinct skin lines in LoL Patch 12.17, however one of them will just have one skin for now.
The Zenith Games skins are meant to represent a futuristic sporting event. Do you think it’s a tad early for World Cup skins?
The other skin line, in my opinion, is far more fascinating, as it is based on the upcoming book “Ruiniation,” which tells the narrative of Kalista and the origins of her, Viego, and the Shadow Isles. It’s only natural that Viego is the first champion to receive an Ages of Runeterra skin, but we’re certain that more story-related skins will follow. Let’s see how Hecarim looks as a person!
- Zenith Games Lee Sin
- Zenith Games Jayce
- Zenith Games Blitzcrank
- Ages of Runeterra Viego
That’s all there is to LoL Patch 12.17 for the time being. Let’s see what Riot has in store for us, but for now, check out the LoL Patch 12.16 buffs and nerfs to keep you busy for the next two weeks.
