Game Pass will soon include Riot’s biggest PC and mobile games
Riot Games and Xbox announced today that Game Pass will include Riot’s most popular titles this winter. This means that two of the largest gaming communities are being brought together onto a single platform.
The agreement extends beyond Riot’s PC games to encompass Riot’s mobile-only and mobile-accessible titles, which is a first for Game Pass. Members with the Game Pass will be able to play:
League of Legends (PC): All Champions Unlocked
One of the world’s most popular competitive games, League of Legends, is a staple of the MOBA genre. League pits two teams of five formidable heroes against each other in a game that combines speed, strategy, and intensity. Members who purchase Game Pass will have access to all 160+ champions as well as first-day access to each new champion when it is introduced.
League of Legends: Wild Rift (Mobile): All Champions Unlocked
League of Legends: Wild Rift is a mobile game built from the bottom up for touchscreens that delivers the basic 5v5 MOBA gameplay of League of Legends to mobile devices with new controls and a simplified feel. Members of the Game Pass will have access to all 80+ champions, as well as first-day access to each new champion.
Legends of Runeterra (PC & Mobile): Foundations Set Unlocked
Your ability determines your level of success in this strategic card game. To unleash unique card pairings and outmaneuver your opponent, mix and combine renowned champions, allies, and locations of Runeterra. By unlocking the Foundations Set, Game Pass members get a jumpstart on this free-to-play friendly PVP card game.
Teamfight Tactics (PC & Mobile): Select Little Legends Unlocked
TFT is an auto-battler strategy game in which players mix League champions and equipment in endless combinations to beat the other seven players in a match. A rotation of Tier One Little Legend avatars will be available to Game Pass users.
Valorant (PC): All Agents Unlocked
Valorant, Riot’s fast-growing 5v5 character-based tactical shooter, combines razor-sharp gunplay with game-changing tactical skills. Compete against opponents in Competitive, Unranked, Deathmatch, and Spike Rush modes. On day one, Game Pass members will get access to all 18 agents as well as all new agents.
Select games will also reward players with extra experience.
Xbox’s unwavering commitment to pushing gaming forward is certainly admirable, and it’s exciting that some of Riot’s biggest titles are about to join the Xbox Game Pass library.
Stay tuned for more info about the relationship and how Game Pass users may have access to the content in the coming months!
